David Tsang

Product Director, Building Safety & Security Systems, Verkada Inc.

David Tsang is the Director of product management at Verkada, where he is transforming building safety and security. Prior to Verkada, he served as the director of sales engineering at Edgespring, later acquired by Salesforce, developing a distributed database for business intelligence. At Salesforce, he led cloud business intelligence and big data analytics solutions, which became the foundation for Einstein Analytics. He spent five years as a solutions engineer at Endeca and Eloqua, and prior to that started his career as a firmware engineer for Qualcomm. David holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in management sciences from the University of Waterloo.
