Arctic Wolf, a global pioneer in security operations, announced enhancements to the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform through new integrations with Microsoft, Oracle, OneLogin, and CyberArk. As one of the industry’s first open security operations platforms, Aurora is uniquely designed to offer a flexible approach to both data ingestion and core functionality, empowering customers to build and customise their ideal security stack. These new integrations expand the platform’s openness and flexibility, enabling organisations to address the challenges of fragmented security tools and increasingly dynamic environments. Security teams Security teams today face an overwhelming volume of alerts and data from disconnected tools Security teams today face an overwhelming volume of alerts and data from disconnected tools. The rapid adoption of AI technologies has added further complexity, introducing new attack surfaces that must be secured. This fragmentation creates operational inefficiencies, drives alert fatigue, and makes it harder to identify which threats truly matter. As organisations grow, consolidating and analysing telemetry from endpoints, identity, and cloud services becomes more challenging, often delaying critical response actions and leaving gaps in coverage. Aurora Platform The Aurora Platform tackles these challenges with an open XDR architecture that unifies telemetry across the organisation into a single system of record. With more than 200 technology integrations, it breaks down data silos, streamlines operations, and delivers end-to-end visibility across multiple threat surfaces, enabling security teams to focus on the risks that matter most. Powered by Alpha AI, the platform rapidly correlates massive volumes of telemetry to identify and prioritise high-impact threats. Each event is enriched through AI-driven analysis before reaching Arctic Wolf’s Security Operations Centre, where expert analysts provide swift triage and response. AI automation This powerful combination of AI automation and human expertise cuts through noise, speeds detection, and equips customers with the insight needed to stay ahead of advanced attacks. These new integrations enhance the Aurora Platform by extending visibility, detection, and response capabilities across key technologies, including: Microsoft Defender XDR – A unified enterprise defence suite coordinating detection, investigation, and response across endpoints, identities, email, and cloud applications. Oracle Cloud Guard – A cloud-native solution for identifying and remediating misconfigurations and risky activities within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. OneLogin – A trusted identity platform securely connecting users to applications, providing rapid detection and response to identity-based threats. CyberArk Privileged Access Manager – A secure vaulting and access-management solution that protects privileged credentials using encryption, authentication, and access control within Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA). Customer choice “Openness isn’t just a feature of the Aurora Platform—it’s the foundation that allows us to deliver superior outcomes and offer customer choice,” said Dan Schiappa, president of technology and services, Arctic Wolf. “By supporting a wide range of technologies and enabling rapid integration as customer environments evolve, we help organisations make security work in the real world—on their terms, with their tools, and without compromise.” Endpoint innovation Arctic Wolf is committed to giving customers choice and flexibility in endpoint protection. While continuing to advance its own Aurora Endpoint Security, the company also supports other tools customers may already rely on, including more than a dozen third-party endpoint solutions. The new integration with Microsoft Defender XDR underscores this commitment, ensuring organisations can achieve strong security outcomes regardless of endpoint vendor. This focus on interoperability is matched by ongoing innovation across the Aurora Platform, helping organisations simplify operations and strengthen defenses.
Arctic Wolf, a pioneering provider of security operations, and Immersive Labs, the pioneer in people-centric cyber resilience, announced that Arctic Wolf has joined the Immersive Labs Cyber Million program, which aims to solve the cybersecurity talent deficit by increasing access to one million entry-level cybersecurity operations jobs over the next decade. As a new partner, Arctic Wolf has made entry-level cyber jobs available on the platform. Cyber Million program Launched by Immersive Labs in June 2023, the Cyber Million program introduces a modern, practical approach to recruiting by prioritising real-world skills, upskilling, and aptitude over traditional evaluation methods such as education, certification, and experience. Individuals over the age of 16 can register for the program and work through a compilation of hands-on exercises and labs to match the skill set requirements of open roles, including those that Arctic Wolf has added. Advanced AI algorithms Arctic Wolf protects more than 6,000 customers across the globe via the Arctic Wolf Platform Arctic Wolf protects more than 6,000 customers across the globe via the Arctic Wolf Platform, which ingests, parses, enriches, and analyses more than 5.5 trillion security events per week. With its open-XDR architecture, the Arctic Wolf Platform leverages advanced AI algorithms combined with the company’s revolutionary Concierge Delivery Model to deliver game-changing noise reduction that turns thousands of daily alerts into an average of a single actionable ticket for customers each day. Entry for cybersecurity job seekers "We are excited to join the Immersive Labs Cyber Million program to reduce barriers to entry for cybersecurity job seekers and uncover hidden talent through skills-first hiring," said Mark Manglicmot, senior vice president, Security Services at Arctic Wolf. "The program will allow Arctic Wolf to find passionate, skilled candidates who will have the opportunity to not only advance their cybersecurity career as part of ‘The Pack,’ but will also play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission of ending cyber risk.” Cyber skills revolution “We are thrilled to welcome Arctic Wolf to our Cyber Million program to fill vital cybersecurity roles,” said Kieran Rowley, director of Community for Immersive Labs. “Arctic Wolf is a cybersecurity pioneer on the forefront of the cyber skills revolution and we appreciate the opportunity to join forces in this important work.” Arctic Wolf joins a growing number of Cyber Million employment partners, including Accenture and BT. Immersive Labs welcomes additional Cyber Million employment partners.
Arctic Wolf® Labs, a global pioneer in security operations, has published the findings of its 2025 predictions report revealing the cybersecurity trends set to dominate the threat landscape over the next year. The report predicts social engineering and ransomware attacks to be some of the most common attack types in 2025, allowing threat actors to effectively bypass defences and gain entry to victim organisations. Weaknesses in identity and access management (IAM) systems, alongside a continued rise in ‘voice phishing’ techniques, will also continue to be exploited to gain unauthorised access to target networks. Human reasoning capabilities Critical infrastructure could be subject to destructive – rather than disruptive – attacks in 2025 as actors look to take advantage of changes in Western administrations and leadership. Threat actors will also continue to leverage new and existing tools, with AI soon predicted to replicate human reasoning capabilities and allow actors to uncover novel initial access techniques as a result. Basic cybersecurity measures “Threat actors are becoming increasingly opportunistic in their chosen attack type, and 2025 will be no exception,” said Dan Schiappa, Chief Product Officer at Arctic Wolf. “Any new technology, or slight change in IT environment, can, and will, be taken advantage of as we head into the new year and its critical organisations protect themselves. Implementing basic cybersecurity measures, such as multifactor authentication (MFA), network segmentation and an incident response plan, should be a number one priority. Protecting against these expected threats – whether that’s through phishing-resistant MFA or credential controls – can also help prevent actors from gaining entry, whether a hacktivist, nation state agency or lone individual.”
