Yeastar, the provider of Unified Communications solutions and Digital Workplace innovator, and Headset Solutions, South Africa’s supplier of headsets as well as the fastest-growing video solutions distributor jointly announce a distribution partnership.

Yeastar Workplace products

This alliance allows Headset Solutions to provide the channels with the full line of Yeastar Workplace products while enhancing Yeastar’s brand presence across South Africa. Through this alliance, Headset Solutions will distribute the complete range of Yeastar Workplace products including:

  • Room Display: Yeastar Workplace incorporates wall-mounted touch-screen digital signage to signal room availability, display ongoing and upcoming meetings, and allow employees to book a room on the spot. Real-time room status is visible from a distance with different status colours. Right on the display, employees can easily tap to book rooms, check-in, and end meetings.
  • People Counting Sensor: Featuring a detection area of up to 48 m2 and 95% accuracy, the AI-based People Counting Sensor can capture real-time attendance data and sync it to the online platform and room displays seamlessly. Ghost meetings will be freed up automatically and the rooms will become bookable again to increase space usage efficiency.
  • Room Comfort Sensor: The Room Comfort Sensor is a compact indoor environmental monitoring sensor for the measurement of temperature, humidity, light, CO2 concentration, and TVOC. The data will be shown on the E-ink screen in real-time, which helps to measure the indoor environment and comfort of meeting rooms.
  • UG65 LoRaWAN® Gateway: UG65 is a robust indoor LoRaWAN® gateway that connects Yeastar Smart Sensors (Occupancy Sensor and People Counting Sensor) to Yeastar Workplace. Adopting the SX1302 LoRa chip and high-performance quad-core CPU, UG65 supports a clear line of sight up to 15 km and can cover about 10000 to 15000 square ft in office applications.
