Vicon Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc., designer, and manufacturer of video surveillance and access control software, hardware, and components, recently announced the highly-anticipated launch of the Roughneck V2020 Multi-sensor camera.

Having evaluated the state of the video security industry early in the pandemic and identified the likelihood of long-term supply chain disruption, Vicon strategically invested in its most popular cameras including the NDAA-compliant Roughneck Series and the development of the NDAA-compliant V2020.

Multi-directional video surveillance

The new Roughneck V2020 is available and in stock now, allowing integrators to continue to meet growing video surveillance demands with advanced technologies even amid the continued disruptions.

Featuring (4) 5 MP sensors each with independent motorized PTZ control, Vicon’s Revolutionary Multi-Sensor Camera provides flexible, multi-directional video surveillance that replaces multiple single-sensor cameras and is ideal for monitoring large areas.

V2020 captures critical forensic details of subjects such as clothing and hair colour with ease

Panoramic coverage with the elimination of blind spots

The camera features preset for 180°, 270°, 360° panoramic coverage but additionally allows quick and easy manual, customised, and individual configurations from the PC to help eliminate problem blindspots. No matter the time of day, or the existence of challenging lighting situations such as low-light, oversaturation, or glares, the V2020 provides reliably high-quality images.

Using 120 dB True WDR, IR illumination of 131 feet, and Starlight colour imaging, the V2020 captures critical forensic details of subjects such as clothing and hair colour with ease. Engineers considered every facet of the multi-sensor camera’s creation, including ease of installation, use, reliability, and compatibility.

Easy to use, NDAA-compliant cameras

“The V2020 provides a highly-competitive NDAA-compliant option for integrators. It is feature-rich, easy-to-use, and is certified with most major video management systems, making integration into existing systems easy,” shared Bob Germain, Director, Hardware Product Management, Vicon.

The next-generation multi-sensor camera represents Vicon’s continued dedication to offering unparalleled value for surveillance operations around the globe.
