Panasonic System Communications Company of North America has formally incorporated its Security Business Group into the company’s longstanding video surveillance systems business with the business of Video Insight, the video management system software and storage company that Panasonic acquired in 2015.

With a newly consolidated technical and operations campus in Houston, Texas, Panasonic will now have a unified sales force made up of both Panasonic and former Video Insight employees. The Houston technical center will house the company’s core software development team and with their co-located support teams, enable faster response times for our customers for both development and support.

Delivering connected solutions

“We are proud of the work that has been done to integrate Video Insight into the Panasonic Security Business Group. It’s been a long road, but having the team in place, on our consolidated Houston campus, with a unified sales, development and support teams is a huge achievement,” says M. Faisal Pandit, Senior Vice President, who leads the Security Business Group.

"The aggregation of Panasonic’s broad portfolio of surveillance hardware with Video Insight’s open platform software will allow us to meet and exceed customer needs more rapidly and effectively. “This integration allows Panasonic to become a more solutions focused company, making it easier for customers to have a full experience from product to service. A stronger focus will be put on delivering connected solutions that will truly provide superior business outcomes for our customers.”

Panasonic Security Business Group will continue to provide technology solutions through authorised resellers, wholesale distributors, and manufacturers’ representatives.
