March Networks® and AMAG Technology are pleased to announce the certified integration of the March Networks Command™ Enterprise video management solution with AMAG’s Symmetry™ Access Control system. The integration provides organisations with a single, unified IP video surveillance and access control solution that enables better situational awareness, improved risk mitigation and more efficient security system management.

March Networks surveillance in Symmetry Virtual Matrix

March Networks, a global leader in intelligent IP video solutions, is now also a member of AMAG’s Symmetry Preferred Partner Programme. AMAG Technology is a leading provider of access control, video management and end-to-end security management solutions.

“Several major AMAG customers have been asking us for an integration with March Networks, so we are very pleased it has come to fruition,” said AMAG Technology Vice President of Product Marketing Dave Ella. “Most access control users now see the value in linking video to their access control alarms and events. The integration will really help our customers respond more quickly and effectively to security incidents.”

The integration enables customers to view live March Networks surveillance video in the Symmetry Virtual Matrix and playback recorded video on any authorised Symmetry client PC. It also supports the display and handling of March Networks alarms and basic system health alerts in the Symmetry client interface. Supported in Symmetry Access Control 8.0.2 and March Networks Command 1.10.1 or later, the integration works with any server running March Networks Command Recording Server software or any March Networks 8000 Series Hybrid NVR.

Bringing together critical security solutions

“We are pleased to partner with AMAG to provide this fully certified solution to our mutual customer base, and to the many organisations looking for a flexible and convenient option to bring together two of their most critical security solutions,” said Jeff Corrall, March Networks’ Integrations Business Development Manager. “The integration combines our best-in-class systems to save customers time and improve operational awareness.”

March Networks Command and 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs provide live monitoring, investigation and enterprise-class video management for all-IP or hybrid IP/analogue video environments. Working together or as separate video surveillance solutions, they support a complete portfolio of IP cameras, encoders and analytics, as well as video-based business intelligence applications.

Symmetry products give customers a comprehensive, end-to-end software platform so users can manage all of their security needs while reducing risk and meeting industry compliance. The security systems are installed worldwide and designed for organisations of any size – from the largest multinational or government agency to schools, hospitals and smaller office buildings.
