Iris ID Systems, Inc., a global pioneer in iris recognition technology for 25 years, and Diyar United, a prominent information and communication technology company for the Middle East have partnered to demonstrate the eService Kiosk integrated with Iris ID’s new frictionless IrisBar solution.

Self-service kiosk

Diyar United is the first Iris ID partner in the Middle East to use the IrisBar in a self-service kiosk. They have the in-house capability to design, manufacture and integrate IrisBar in kiosk solutions.

The fully integrated kiosk is used in eGovernment services to provide registration and verification at airports for immigration and passenger check-in, as a gate pass within the oil & gas industry, in the FinTech industry as well as for National ID programmes. Diyar is an expert system integrator and leverages their experience with major projects including enrollment and verification solutions for law enforcement to deliver turnkey implementations.

Identity and e-passport solutions

The partnership is a window into Diyar capabilities. Diyar has been delivering successful identity solutions for over 13 years from National ID and e-passport solutions to corporate identity solutions, for government, oil & gas, telecom, and for physical cards to mobile-based identity,” said Mohamed Mahfouz, National Identity Program Director, Diyar United Company.

"Through this partnership with Iris ID, we look forward to showcasing our self-service capabilities to enrich our customer's service delivery experience further."

IrisBar

Mohammed Murad, Vice President, Global Business Development and Sales, said, “we are excited to showcase IrisBar integrated with Diyar’s eService Kiosk at Intersec 2023 Dubai, and look forward to deploying this solution for identity authentication applications around the Middle East.”

The IrisBar from Iris ID is a frictionless solution for companies and governments that need to identify and authenticate people quickly, but not sacrifice efficiency or quality. The IrisBar is a complete multi-biometric OEM module that is standards-compliant and streamlines the verification process. It is designed to be platform agnostic and includes REST API for easy integration.
