G4S Facilities Management creates flexible solutions to deliver safe and secure environments
Feeney will be responsible for leading the finance and commercial teams at the G4S FM head office in Banbury

G4S Facilities Management has appointed Tom Feeney as its new Finance Director.

Effective immediately, Feeney will be responsible for finances across the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, as well as leading the finance and commercial teams at the G4S FM head office in Banbury.

Feeney has been with G4S FM for just over a year and previously held the role of Head of Finance and Commercial.  In his new position, he will manage the finances across 60 single, bundled and total facilities management contracts, in a business with an annual turnover of around £300 million.

Before joining G4S FM in July 2014, Feeney was Commercial Finance Director at United Technologies Actuation Systems and prior to that, the firm’s aftermarket Finance Director. He has also held director-level roles in FM businesses including Rentokil Initial and Capita.

Feeney trained as a management accountant before embarking on a successful career in the service and outsourcing sectors.

He said, “I’m delighted to accept the new role at this exciting and pivotal time for the G4S FM business as we continue to grow in the commercial sector. In the year that I have been with the business we have developed some exciting plans for our service lines and made great inroads into the commercial sector, so it is a great time to be so directly involved in supporting the business.”

Darren Jones, interim Regional Managing Director at G4S FM said: "We are delighted to appoint Tom to the Finance Director role within G4S Facilities Management. His extensive sector experience means he is well positioned to help us to drive the financial performance of the company as we look to exceed our targets in the FM market."

G4S Facilities Management creates flexible solutions to deliver safe and secure environments. It has an annual turnover of around £300 million and employs over 7,000 staff across the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. G4S FM offers total facilities management, cleaning, catering, security, hard FM and service desk services to contracts within the commercial, healthcare, education, and central government sectors. Customers include the NHS, Food Standards Agency, Met Office, Rio Tinto, Aggregate Industries, HMRC and General Dynamics.
