Myers will focus on how service providers can best capitalise on current and future residential technology

Tyco Security Products, part of Tyco, the world’s largest pure-play fire protection and security company, recently announced that Tim Myers, Director of Product Management, Intrusion, will be a featured speaker at CONNECTIONS Europe: Monetising Strategies for the Connected Home, being held this week in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Myers will participate in the panel discussion “Channel Strategies and Business Models for the Smart Home -- which will explore new strategies, business models and partnership opportunities between players in the smart home market. With more than 15 years of experience in the intrusion and residential systems industry, Myers will focus on how service providers can best capitalise on current and future residential technology offerings to optimise the customer experience.

“The smart home market today is ripe with potential to deliver to homeowners a truly seamless and intuitive solution to smart home management,” Myers said. “We’re pleased to be participating in the CONNECTIONS event to help tackle the important issues of new channels to market, evolving innovations in technology and ultimately helping customers choose the right products to best fit their needs.”

The conference focuses on connected services and devices, innovations in business strategies and how best to address consumer cyber-security, privacy and interoperability concerns.

The panel, “Channel Strategies and Business Models for the Smart Home,” will be held Wednesday, 19 November, 15:30, Zurich 2 Room, at the Mövenpick Hotel in Amsterdam.
