For events that do not require a dispatch but must still be documented, Perspective instantly logs the data in a new record for statistical analysis and follow-up
The integration between the two systems enables a faster and efficient response

With the certification of its latest incident management connector, PPM is now a member of AMAG Technology’s Symmetry™ Extended Business Solutions (EBS) Program. AMAG Technology and PPM cooperatively tested and certified the integration between PPM’s Perspective v4.0 incident management software and AMAG’s Symmetry v7.0.1 access control software.

“We are happy to welcome PPM to AMAG Technology’s EBS Program and are thrilled to offer customers an integrated solution for responding, reporting, and investigating incidents,” said AMAG Technology, Symmetry Extended Business Solutions Program Manager, Shae Taylor.

Perspective’s AMAG Symmetry Connector is an off-the-shelf, purpose-built solution that routes activity data from the Symmetry access control system directly into Perspective for action, documentation, and metrics. The integration between the two systems enables faster, more efficient response and eliminates manual data entry errors. The connector analyses the data using established rules and automatically initiates a dispatch when an actionable alarm or event occurs. For events that do not require a dispatch but must still be documented, Perspective instantly logs the data in a new record for statistical analysis and follow-up.

“Integrating access control with incident management enables faster response and better analysis and reporting with fewer errors,” said Brian McIlravey, CPP, Co-Chief Executive Officer of PPM. “Users of both Perspective and Symmetry will benefit from consolidating all aspects of their incident management into a single process that eliminates redundancies and delivers a complete end-to-end management system. We are proud to be an AMAG Certified Partner and look forward to sharing our integration with mutual clients.”
