Cequence Security, the pioneering provider of Unified API Protection (UAP), announced the Cequence Unified API Protection (UAP) solution is now available on the HPE GreenLake Marketplace, an ecosystem of partners that enables customers to deploy software on the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform.

The API threat landscape is constantly evolving, and attackers are becoming more sophisticated and API-specific in their tactics. One of the struggles enterprises have with their API Security is securing APIs across the diversity of infrastructure that is prevalent.

Cequence UAP helps solve this problem for HPE GreenLake customers, as UAP has been tested and validated for HPE GreenLake and offers these customers strong API security for their application workloads.

Cequence’s unique approach

Conventional security measures have shown their limitations and inability to properly protect"

"APIs have become the cornerstone of modern digital business operations, adopted by organisations of all sizes to boost efficiency and gain a competitive edge. Unfortunately, APIs are also now the number one attack surface," said Ameya Talwalkar, CEO and Founder of Cequence Security.

Ameya Talwalkar adds, "Conventional security measures have shown their limitations and inability to properly protect an organisation from an API attack. Cequence’s unique approach, which covers the full API lifecycle, will help HPE GreenLake customers proactively address evolving threats, gain insights into the latest attack methods, and establish effective Unified API Protection. We are thrilled to be the only API Security vendor currently on the marketplace."

API protection solution

Customers deploying the UAP solution achieve continuous protection of their complete API risk surface, enabling their organisations to reap the competitive and business advantages of ubiquitous API connectivity securely while meeting regulatory compliance.

"We are excited to welcome Cequence Security as the first API protection solution to the HPE GreenLake Marketplace,” said Philip Sailer, Senior Director, HPE GreenLake ISV Alliances, HPE, adding “Protecting our customers from data breaches – including API attacks – is a priority for HPE, and having Cequence’s UAP solution available on our marketplace will expand the secure connectivity needed to mitigate business interruptions and bring peace of mind to enterprises.”
