ASSA ABLOY is excited to announce a partnership with the USO at ISC West 2018 that will provide deployment kits loaded with food, toiletries and other personal items, for active duty military personnel waiting on their personal gear to join them at their destination. Both ASSA ABLOY and the USO are inviting all attendees of the show to stop by and help pack the 300 kits at the ASSA ABLOY booth (#8061).

The event continues the collaboration between ASSA ABLOY and the USO to find innovative ways to involve trade show attendants in supporting our deployed service members.

The event is an important component of ASSA ABLOY’s core commitment to helping support our military communities"

Partner companies

ASSA ABLOY partner companies taking part in the event include AccessNSite, AMAG, Averics, BluB0X, Feenics, Galaxy, Genetec, Honeywell Prowatch, ICT, Identiv, Inaxsys, Lenel, Mercury, Monitor Dynamics, Open Options, ProdataKey, RBH, RS2, and Vanderbilt.

Jeff Huggins, Director Government Programs, ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions, says "The event is an important component of ASSA ABLOY’s core commitment to helping support our military communities across the country."

Supporting the troops

Leaving for and returning from deployment is no simple undertaking,” Huggins said. “Not only do these types of events help support troops directly, but they also raise awareness of the complex and emotionally taxing effort these men and women have made for our country. We’re extremely grateful for their service, and we know that gratitude is common within the ISC West community, so we are excited to get as many people involved as possible.
