ASSA ABLOY, the provider of door opening solutions, has unveiled the latest integrated security and access control technologies it will be showcasing for commercial businesses at IFSEC 2018. Held at ExCeL London on the 19 – 21 June, visitors to stand F320 in Hall S7 at IFSEC 2018 will discover the latest innovations to help ‘access smarter thinking’ for commercial sites.

ASSA ABLOY Access Control will be exhibiting SMARTair, a modular and fully scalable access control system. SMARTair keeps the user in touch with everything that’s happening in a building – who enters, when and where – allowing them to stay in control of site security, in real time. This year, the new mobile solution Openow will be presented, which converts a smartphone into a secure virtual key.

Increase access control measures

ASSA ABLOY Access Control will also be presenting RX Web. A web-based access control system that can be expanded to control 16 doors, RX Web uses a combination of hard-wired readers and Aperio online wireless locking technology.

The database is managed and stored in the RX Web controller, meaning no additional software is required. RX Web is ideal for businesses that expect to grow and want to increase access control measures over time, without having to invest in an entirely new system.

ASSA ABLOY will be showcasing its SMARTec high performance timber door range on stand F320 too. This has been developed to offer a complete doorset solution of high-quality doors and frames, complete with all ironmongery solutions.
