Allegion, a security products and solutions provider, is broadening its offering of electromechanical hardware for access control. Beginning in March 2018, Locknetics will offer an entirely new portfolio of electric strikes, electromagnetic locks and access control accessories. The product line features multiple UL listings and a versatile offering to fit a breadth of applications.

Allegion is expanding its portfolio with solutions designed to fit the challenges of everyday, on-the-job applications for locksmiths and integrators. Customers will get more options with fewer SKUs—all at a practical price point. For example, the CS Series electric strikes include two face plates, mounting tabs and trims for improved flexibility at installation. Electric Strikes will be field selectable fail safe-fail secure along with dual 12/24 VDC voltage.

Simplification of inventory

The launch of new Locknetics will strengthen Allegion’s relationship with locksmiths and integrators,” said Marli Williams, channel-led business leader for Allegion. “In the discretionary aftermarket, simple, quality products are key. From the product offering to inventory stocking to installation, customers will appreciate the simplicity that Locknetics brings to the market.

The launch of this product line is particularly important to Allegion as the organisation expands its focus on channel relationships and opportunities. “Some customers might remember Locknetics, Allegion’s former electronics brand, from several years ago,” said Williams. “The products and SKUs have changed. Today, the Locknetics brand exemplifies simplicity.
